Opening early this season due to massive demand
From 2003 Heron Lake Swimmers have been the single biggest donators to the lake, which has helped raise money for the BDWSA (British Disabled Water Skiing Association). With the money recently, it has been possible to invest in the much needed improvement of the facility, with new showers and changing rooms, plus many other areas that help and maintain a great facility for people to use and enjoy. The lake was receiving over 400 swimmers at the weekends, which illustrates what a popular venue and safe fun and enjoyable place Heron Lake is to use.
The future will be no exception with an expected increase in people attending the lake. With this forecast additional parking areas have been sorted out ample space to park for everyone!!!
HERON LAKE IS STILL OPEN FOR SWIMMING
Our time table is currently Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday mornings 6-9am from April to September however in the near future this will be expanding so please contact Rick Kiddle on 0777 039 1966 or email SBR Sports on enquiries@sbrsports.com for more opening times or keep logging onto the website for more information.

A competence form needs to be filled out before attending a course and sent to Rick Kiddle so that he can asses which level of course is appropriate to the attendee.
Level 3 courses are available to people who are interested and have completed 1 & 2 or are elite triathletes.
