Wetsuit testing is charged at £15 per test.

We will take off any testing money from that morning’s session on the purchase of a suit

We want to make sure that we offer you the best service available. Offering a wetsuit testing service is something that other stores are not able to provide.

Heron Lake is proud to be associated with the worlds best Manufacturers of wetsuits Orca, who will be on hand every weekend at the lake to try and test out the latest wetsuits on the market. There will also be an opportunity to try out Blue Seventy and Aquasphere wetsuits throughout the season.

Aquasphere is also the main supporter of swimming goggles. They are number one in open water swimming and triathlon swim accessories.

SBR Sports is the Official Retailer at the lake. They do not hire wetsuits for the season or one off events, as 99% of the time most people buy a wetsuit and use it, not only at the lake, but also for the whole season.

Never store the suit tightly folded, instead let the suit air dry and hang it on a board, wide shouldered hanger away from direct heat.

Rinse the suit off with clean fresh water after swimming in a pool or salt water.

When you pack your suit in a race bag, carry it inside out (nylon side out) to avoid chipping the smooth neoprene skin.coating

Pack loosely and be sure i is dry. A light coating of bar soap on the zipper can make it work smoothly, but washes of quickly .

When drying, make sure the suit is inside out. Avoid direct sunlight. Do not fold, roll, or better yet, keep on a plastic hanger to avoid creasing.
